Bird Hunting Sock Layers
To hunt birds, you will walk a lot or sit a lot. If you are walking a lot, you want to avoid blisters. If you are sitting a lot, you will need to avoid cold (usually). So, most of the times it is best to have sock layers. You should have a thin slippery sock underneath and a thicker or regular sock on the outside. The layering effect will help wick away sweat, keep your feet warmer, and help avoid blisters.
